Daryl Hokama, Network and Hardware Services Coordinator

Daryl joins the Corelation team with 16 years of credit union experience and 30 years overall in IT. After graduating in 1985 from Cal State Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, his computing experience has included data entry, data center operations, support desk, programming, PC & network: purchasing, shipping, configuration, and installation. He still believes that Digital Equipment Corporation systems powered by the Alpha CPU were the world's best computers that nobody knew about.

In his spare time, he enjoys movies, musicals, and wine/beer tasting with Susan, his wife of 25+ years. He is also actively motivating his 2 grown children to get on with their own careers and move out of the house. When not involved in family pursuits, he is an active member in a Star Wars costuming club known as the 501st Legion, participating in events with charity and non-profit groups such as Children’s Hospital and Make a Wish Foundation to bring smiles to Star Wars fans young and not-so-young. When not "playing dress up", he can be found: playing games on the PC, XBox, and tabletop, in the garage crafting new costumes, lock picking, and whatever can hold his attention for longer than a few minutes.

"I'm extremely blessed to have been invited to join the Corelation team. Ever since evaluating KeyStone as a potential core years ago, I was impressed by the system and the enthusiasm of the staff. While my credit union ultimately decided to go with another core, I kept watch on Corelation's growth and cheered every success. When the opportunity came to join the team, I jumped at the chance. I hope to be worthy of the invitation to work here and become a contributor to this great team."
