Hal Barnabas, Chief Financial Officer
Hal Barnabas is the newest member of Corelation’s executive team, contributing leadership skills developed
over the past 25 years. His professional experience includes roles of increasing complexity in diverse
industries including The Black and Decker Corporation and Fiserv Inc. Hal’s most recent executive leadership
experience includes ten years in the CFO role with software development providers of core processing,
automated loan origination, and integrated business intelligence solutions to credit unions across the United
States and Canada.
As Chief Financial Officer, Hal has shares ownership of Corelation’s P&L and the financial direction of the
company with the Chairman and President. Hal provides leadership for the Business Unit Accounting, Financial
Planning and Analysis, and Risk Management functions. His extensive operational expertise is also leveraged
to provide guidance related to Human Resources, employee benefits, infrastructure, supply chain, and other
key administrative areas.
For Hal, the decision to join Corelation’s executive leadership team was an easy one. “I gained an
understanding of why Corelation was such a special company after my first meeting with founder and Chairman,
John Landis, and Theresa Benavidez, CEO and President, both of whom are CU industry legends. I left that
meeting thinking Wow! I know I can add significant value at this growing organization where senior leaders
have already established a strong culture that nurtures creativity, embraces cohesiveness, and inspires
loyalty. I believe the entire Corelation team is committed to continue producing superior credit union core
processing technology solutions while providing clients with a level of service, attention, and care that
simply cannot be matched. Beginning with the contract negotiation and continuing through implementation
and post conversion support, we endeavor to make each and every client an evangelical Corelation promoter.
Oh, by the way, the breathtaking view of San Diego’s Mission Bay that spans the entire length of the 3rd
floor Liberty Station office suite is another one of Corelation’s fringe benefits. Who could ask for more?
